His to Seduce the 4th book in the Fireside series was an okay read for me, but I just couldn't connect with it like I did all the others. I never got invested in the love story and I found myself skipping through the book because I was starting to get a little bored. I don't know what it was for sure that caused such a disconnect with me and this book as I loved the other books in this series but something was just not working for me. Not that I hated this book or anything. I didn't hate it. I actually really liked David and getting to catch up with the whole gang at Fireside. The only thing I can pin point that I didn't like was Camden. She just rubbed me wrong. I didn't feel like I got to really know her. She only really showed her closed off side which made her seem bitchy and cold. Because of her past I could understand some of her actions but I think she was just too closed off and didn't open up soon enough. David was a nice balance to her. He was sweet, fun, and very understanding. I did really think the ending was very cute. Overall this read was okay but my least favorite of the series.

4 OMG will the tears stop Stars

My God this book wrecked me. I was a hot mess starting with page one. His to Cherish, book 3 in the Fireside Series, picks up right where book 2 His to Protect left off. This story deals with loss and grief and made me cry so many times I had Rudolph nose. I don't want to give too much away but I do want to put a trigger warning in my review for those that want to know the hero's 14 year old son dies in a accident the first few pages in.   I loved the hero Aidan. He was so raw. His pain felt so real that I truly did cry many times in this book! Aidan was charming even through his grief and my heart ached for him. I felt a deep connection to him and Chelsea the heroine. Chelsea was a great heroine. She was giving, loving, and had a big heart. She was there for Aidan giving everything she had to him. She was also hurting and she has felt loss deeply before so she was relatable to Aidan.

They made a cute couple but their love was rooted in deep pain. They had a rocky and volatile start with sorrow so deep it filled the pages. It had my feels all over the place. Don't get me wrong though, there was tons of sweet moments too and lots of passion not all pain and tears! I would have liked to catch up more with Declan and Trina from book two but instead I only got a glimpse. I did like the budding romance between Dave and Camden and I'm looking forward to seeing were things go with that! This book was a great read that really got me emotional. The only reason it's a 4 star instead of 5 is I wanted more of an epilogue. The book had more of a hfn feel than a hea.

His To Protect is the first book I have ever read by Stacey Lynn and I really enjoyed her writing style! This book was an amazing read for me. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is because the epilogue was a painful cliffhanger that will drive me crazy til the next book comes out. So for the cost to my metal health I took off a 1/2 a star. Just sayin'! 

I loved this book so much it will be hard for me to gush all about the awesomeness of it without spoiling too much but I will try. Declan was so yummy. A hero in every sense of the word. From the second he met Trina he was sweet, understanding, and super alpha protective. He went out of his way to make her feel safe. And it was beautiful how she bloomed under his support. Trina was brave and strong but vulnerable, and damaged. A victim of domestic violence she tried to be the perfect wife. Because of her husband's abuse and control she had lost who she really was, but she was brave enough to leave her husband and start over. I really loved that even though both Trina and Declan had been hurt they didn't push each other away. 

Trina and Declan had a strong connection and I was rooting for them from the start. They both had endearing personalities that drew me in. I found their relationship very romantic. There is just something extremely sweet and sexy about a big strong man protecting someone that needs help, being gentle and encouraging. I really liked the secondary characters especially Tyson and Blue. Their book was the first one in the series, and I am thinking of going back and reading their story too. I think Aidan's book is the next one since the cliffy was about him and I can't freaking wait to get my hands on it. I really really want to know what is going to happen!!! This was a great read and I am really glad I came across this author.
