My Review

4 Dom Stars

It's no secret that I love Suzanne Wright. She is one of my favorite authors. The Phoenix Pack was my favorite of all her series. Dominic stole my heart from book one with his corny pick up lines and playful charm. I was both excited and sad when I got Untamed Delights. Excited that I was finally getting Dom's HEA. Sad that it is the last book in the Phoenix Pack series. I don't want my favorite set of sexy badass shifters stories to stop. So I felt a little better at the end of the book when the author notes said we will still see our beloved favorites again in the new spin off series Olympus Pride. Though not my favorite in the series, I still really loved Untamed Delights. Dom was yummy and funny as always. I liked Mila a lot. They had off the wall sexual tension. I loved getting deeper with Dom and seeing new sides to him. I love the pallas cat shifters they are so crazy funny. Mila and Dom made a really cute couple. Seeing all the pack mates again and the kids melted my heart. It sometimes amazes me how attached I can become to a series. Reading this book made me want to go back and reread the whole series. I really loved Mila's family. Both sides were funny as hell. and I hope her brother Alex gets a book in the new spin off. I think one of my favorite parts in the whole book was the other males giving Dom a little pay back for all the flirting he did with their mates over the years. Overall a really good ending to a much loved series.

My Review

     5 I love The Phoenix Pack Stars

I just love Suzanne Wright. She is one of my favorite authors in the paranormal romance world. I know when I get one of her books that I will be in my happy zone. Wild Hunger was as awesome as I hoped. I have been waiting for Trick's book for so long. I will be honest and say that I thought Trick's mate would have been male. I was looking forward to a good M/M shifter read, but I wasn't disappointed in the way things turned out. I ended up loving Trick and Frankie.

Trick was everything I love in my paranormal heroes. He was supportive, sexy, dominant, and completely kicked ass. Frankie was sassy, brave, and funny. I loved that she was open and honest. I also really love that they didn't fight the mating bond or take forever to figure it out. It was sweet that even though they knew they were mates they didn't actually mate right away but instead got to know each other and had a real relationship, dates and such. Trick gave Frankie time to deal with everything going on in her life. They were just so good together. I also really enjoyed the plot. Wild Hunger was another win for The Phoenix Pack Series.

As a huge Suzanne Wright fan I tend to read every book of hers that I come across. So when I seen and grabbed Fierce Obsessions from Netgalley I did a little happy dance. When I seen it was Tao's book I did a happy squeal. Like always Suzanne Wright delivered a great read that made me laugh out loud and kept me happy for hours. I have been wanting Tao's book for a while now. I have loved him, Ryan, and Dom since book 1. Now I just need Dom's book and all will be right in my world. I wouldn't mind Trick's book too. I can't wait to see if Trick ends up mated to a male or female.

Tao was Tao. I already loved him. As a reader of this series I have had many books to get to know Tao and fall in love with him. He was just as great in this book as he was in the others. Strong, outspoken, fiercely protective, loyal, and sexy as hell. Riley was great too. She was funny, laid back, had a sassy mouth, was a kick ass fighter, at times a little closed off, but protective of those she loved. Riley and Tao together had me laughing so hard. They picked on and fought with each other like foreplay. I thought it was hilarious that Riley would steal Tao's things and make up random statistics. They had a great relationship build up and a strong connection. The passion was of course great because Suzanne Wright knows how to write some smokin' hot smexy time.

I really loved getting to catch up with all the past couples and the kids. Trey and Taryn are of course my all time favorite couple of the series still, but they are just so epic. I enjoyed Riley's uncles. I kinda wanted them to join the Phoenix pack too. I really loved the kids Dex and Savannah. They just have such cute personalities. There was plenty of ass kicking action in this book to keep it from getting boring. I really loved that Riley was kicking ass with the best of them. I especially loved how when some one pissed her off she would just grab em by the throat. The throat grab upped her bad ass points in my book. Overall a great addition to this series. I can't wait for the next book. Here's hoping it's Dom.

I am a huge fan girl of Suzanne Wright. I have been ever since I came across her Deep in your veins series. I love Suzanne Wright's writing style. I love her knack for writing sassy, kick ass, lovable heroines and broody, protective, sexy heroes. I love the Phoenix Pack series. I liked Ryan from the first time I read about him in Feral Sins. He was so broody, and grunted instead of talking I was just dying to know his backstory. I wanted him to find his mate and see him changed by love. Sadly his mate Makenna wasn't what I was hoping for.

"I don't care for your tone." "I don't have a tone." "Not usually," she conceded. "But you sure do have one now, White Fang." "I told you to drop that." "And I'm astonished that you thought I'd obey you."-Makenna and Ryan 
Ryan was everything I loved and more. He was broody, dominate, protective and possessive. He had this socially awkward charm that totally worked for him. A man of few words, he was honest and didn't people please. I found Ryan sexy, and I can't really think of one thing I would have changed about him. He really made the book for me. Makenna on the other hand. Well I liked her alright, but she was just bland for me. She was suppose to be quirky, fun, honest, kick ass with a heart of gold, but she just fell flat. I'm not really sure why she didn't work for me. Other than being annoyed that she jammed up the mating signal for so long with her fear I can't really name anything I didn't like about her which is why I am confused as to why I didn't connect with her. But I didn't.

I still really enjoyed this book overall. I loved getting to catch up with past couples and seeing Kye again. And any time I can get more Trey and Taryn(my favorite couple of the series) I'm game. I thought Zac was great and I enjoyed the plot of the loner shelter. I thought Ryan was a sexy beast that made the bedroom scenes in this book. It was so funny the way Makenna would translate Ryan's grunts. At the end of the day I still love Suzanne Wright and I'm still gonna read every book she writes. I enjoyed this read just not as much as some of her others. I am really looking forward to Dominic's book. I can't wait to see what kind of mate he gets.

OMG!!!! Ok so I loved the 1st book and the 2nd, the 3rd was just meh. So I was just a little worried that the 4th one would fall flat too. Well I was wrong. I loved Dark Instincts . It was so good that now I can't wait for the next one to come out!

“So when I told you to stop interfering in my life, what part of that statement did you find confusing? Should I use smaller words? Simpler vocabulary? Or maybe you need me to emphasize it with a blow to the jaw? That would be fun.” (Roni to Nick)

I adored that both Trey and Nicks packs are all over this book because I enjoy seeing how everyone is doing. Roni with her two brothers had me rolling. Her and Eli with their crazy brother/sister prank war OMG. 

“Does your cruelty know no boundaries?” “What did she do?” chuckled Marcus. “Take a look. Take a long look at who you’ve mated.” Eli tossed his cell to Marcus. “Total. Fucking. Bitch.” As his mate continued to brush off her brother’s insults, Marcus found himself looking at Eli’s Facebook profile while Nick, Shaya, and Stone peeked at it over his shoulder. Eli or Roni pretending to be Eli had posted on his wall at four-thirty in the morning “I’ve got an announcement to make. I’ve found my true mate. Yep, turns out my mate was under my nose the whole time.” Under the post was a photo of a naked Eli curled up in bed . . . with a grinning Kent spooning him.

This book has it all family drama, hot romance, on the edge of your seat suspense, A yummy, sexy werewolf with cheesy come on lines, and tons of action! Oh and lets not forget adorable lil Kye!!!! I can't not wait for SPIRAL OF NEED (Derren's book)

Trey gave him a mockingly sympathetic look. “You might be an Alpha, but your family will always find a way to play you.” Nick just scowled at him. “I’m glad you find this amusing, Sailor Joe.” It seemed to take a few seconds for the words to sink in, but when they did, Trey spun to snarl at Taryn, “You told him?” She laughed awkwardly. “Of course I didn’t tell him.” In a low voice, she added, “I told Shaya.” While everyone else was doing their best to hide their amusement, Dante was outright laughing his ass off. “A sailor, huh? Didn’t think that role-play was your thing.” Trey glowered at him. “Something funny, Fireman Sam?” The laughing abruptly stopped, and Dante rounded on his mate. “You told him?” Jaime spluttered. “No!” She cleared her throat. “Although I did tell Taryn. And Shaya. And Roni. But I didn’t tell them about the time you—” A large hand clapped over her mouth. “About the time you . . . ?” prodded Nick, grinning. Wincing as Jaime bit into his palm, Dante shook his head. “Nothing.” Shaya snorted at Nick. “You’re not really one to judge, considering you—” Her words were cut off as he kissed her hard.

My Review

                        3 Insecure Stars

“I’ve missed your scent. It drives me crazy.” Drinking in every detail of her face, he smoothed the pad of his thumb across her cheekbone. “I’ve missed looking at you. Watching you.”

Okay so Not as good as the others. So Nick and Shaya yeah..............

“Just go.” “Not without you.” “You have no choice in the matter. I can’t go with you.” “Why?” “Because I don’t trust you!”

So I am noticing a recurring theme Messed up Alpha man with dominance issues and anal fetishes and Sassy mouth chicks with issues that can kick ass. There is always some kind of war that ends with a fight and another person that wants one of the two main characters for a lover so much so that they are willing to kill the competition. 

The story was okay but it wasn't great. I got a little bored and there was a few times I wanted to reach in my kindle and Slap Shaya. At first I felt sorry for her, but I lost all respect for her when she played childish silly bitch games and went on a date with another man just to see if Nick would leave her, and hurt him, after 3 weeks of his kissing her ass for another chance. I mean really you go on a date with another guy???????

He had made himself a part of her everyday life to the extent that if he left again, it would have a huge impact on her an impact she wasn’t sure she could bear. If that was going to happen, she would rather he did it sooner instead of later. If one thing could succeed in making him give up, it was her going on a date with another guy. If he still didn’t give up…well, there would be no denying that he deserved a chance. It was a huge gamble, and it could blow up in her face, but she needed to know how committed he was to sticking around before she even properly considered giving him a chance. Really WTF?

For real whats with all the butt sex??????? I get it in some books but in this series it's like the freakin Holy Grail

Driving one finger deep inside her, he swirled it around and then withdrew it to circle the puckered hole lower down. “Has anyone ever been here before, Shay?” He’d asked it so casually that Shaya could almost believe her answer was inconsequential. But she knew better. Male shifters liked to claim their mates in every way possible, including anally, and dominant males in particular liked for that to be virgin territory. They wanted their mates to have saved something for them to be theirs and theirs alone. “No.”

and calling it a puckered hole made me giggle like a child and OMG what is with the butt plug...Sex toys are fine but to be sitting around with everyone eating and talking with a butt plug in your ass ?????
