My Review

    4 "You're mine, and I'm yours stars

"Planning on doing everything I can to stop them from getting married. Mitch has to see the light. He has to know he's taking the wrong step before he jumps over the edge."-Ryder
"It taught me that life is short, and you have to show people that you love them when you have the chance. You can't wait. You have to capture the moment while it's there, because if you wait for the right one, it'll never come."-Josie

What a Werewolf Wants is the 3rd book in the San Francisco Wolf Pack Series. I didn't read the other two books in this series and I had no problem understanding this paranormal world, or the plot so it can be read as a stand alone. This book is about a werewolf named Ryder. Ryder works as a PI busting cheaters, he no longer believes in love, marriage, or forever. Ryder meets his fated mate Josie, who is a hopelessly romantic matchmaker. Her whole career is about finding true love and happy ever after. Josie is looking for her soulmate, she believes in love at first sight and she wants it all. They both feel the mate pull between them. But they are both fighting it. Ryder's best friend is marrying Josie's sister. Ryder plans on stopping the wedding because he knows his best friend hasn't been honest with the bride-to-be about what he really is. Josie has no plans on letting him break up the happy couple that she matched even if he does claim there are things she and her sister don't know about Mitch. Sparks fly as these two face off while fighting their attraction to each other.

"What do you want, Ryder? You're so hot and cold, you're making my head spin."-Josie
"I want you so much it hurts, but I can't stay away from you, no matter how hard I try." "Ryder?" She cupped his face in her hands as her stomach tumbled. "Stop trying."-Ryder and Josie

Ryder was totally Jaded. He wanted love, but he feared being hurt. he has been hurt before and he has seen it too many times in his line of work that he has given up hope. Ryder was a sweet guy, sexy, and laid back. Ryder was also very stubborn and a tad emo at times. He fought being with his mate tooth and nails. Josie was adorable. She knew what she felt and she trusted her instincts. Josie was a confident woman, beautiful, but still down to earth. Ryder and Josie's relationship was a bumpy, drive you crazy, opposites attract one , but still sweet. They kinda reminded me of Abby and Mike from the movie The Ugly Truth. Though there is some angst, due to the push/pull of their relationship it was a lighter angst read. Mostly this was a Cutesy feel good book, that made me smile a lot. It was a nice quick read that flowed well. I loved the ending. I think I might check out the first two books in this series, and I will be reading more from this author in the future.

"If I'm yours," she whispered, knowing he could hear her with his sensitive hearing, "then come and get me."-Josie
