The Blurb:

He’s her darkest fantasy. . .

After years of struggling, Haven Daly has finally accepted that she’s nuttier than a fruitcake. Why else would she see visions of a beautiful but tormented male every night . . . and actually believe she can talk to him, even feel his touch?  But thanks to those dream journeys, she can paint images nobody else on earth can duplicate. In each brush stroke, she captures the blatant masculinity and raw desire in his eyes that promise he’s coming for her…and soon.

She’s the light that keeps him going. . .

Quade Kayrs has already suffered a lifetime of pain and torture. Completely isolated, he kept his sanity  thanks to one beautiful female, a vision with kind emerald eyes. In the end, her soft voice led him out of hell. Now, naked and alone, he’s in a strange world that bears little resemblance to the one he left behind. All he knows is Haven.  All he wants is Haven.  His final mission? To protect her from the evil hunting them both—whether she likes it or not . . .

5 Minty fresh Stars

ONE word WOW!!!!!

Hero's Haven was so damn good. OMG I don't know how Rebecca Zanetti does it, but she is amazing. God I love that woman. Every book she writes is gold. Quade and Haven were better than even my expectations, which were super high. The plot was action packed, the banter was hilarious and I loved both Quade and Haven. They were both well developed characters, relatable and very lovable.

Quade was delicious. Sexy, protective, alpha without being annoying, and funny. He was the total package. Quade suffered so much, for so long I was so glad he got his HEA. Gone from this world 100s of years Quade didn't understand modern times. I loved reading about him learning all the new technology and inventions like toothpaste. OMG him eating all the toothpaste, I laughed so hard. Haven was perfect for him. She was smart, sassy, with a touch of vulnerability. Haven's past was heartbreaking and sad. Her adopted parents were crazy assholes and I really wanted them to get some comeuppance. I felt they got off too easy and I wanted them to feel the pain. I know I can get bloodthirsty about some fictional characters but that's me. Haven was talented, independent and most of all a survivor .

Haven and Quade were great together. I felt their relationship had a nice build up, with tons of chemistry. I loved how supportive they both were with each other. They are favorite couple of the new series arc after Rebecca started writing more in the Dark Protector world. I totally flipped the fangirl out when Talen and Dage entered the story. OMG I need more Talen in my life. * HINT HINT * I would love more Talen and the older couples of the series in the up coming books. *HINT HINT* I'm sure I'm not the only one, but the second Talen entered the book I squealed. Then every time he talked, made a smart ass comment or got pissed I was OMG it's Talen OMG.

Truly I am crazy about that man. I don't care that he isn't real. He is to me! Any- fangirl- way the ongoing plot was really good. I loved Hope and Pax. I am so glad that Zane is checking into Pax. I totally melted at the part with Hunter and Haven. What a cutie. I loved every single minute of this book and I can't wait to get my hands on the next one. Grace, Adare and Garrett's books are going to be so damn good I just can't wait!!!!!

The Blurb:

Drew
I'm not as bad as they make me out to be . . . I'm worse.
Scoundrel.
Vindictive.
Manipulative liar.
I own every vile part of who I am.
My family thinks they can change me.
Nothing can fix my dark soul.
But what's thrown me off-kilter . . . she doesn't want to.

Sonya
Anyone who says being bad isn't fun isn't doing it right.
Chameleon.
Hustler.
Ghost.
I get what I want by being whoever I want.
And right now?
I need a place to hide.
Playing pretend is my specialty. Nobody knows the real me.
Except he sees exactly who I am.
It's not a matter of if he'll expose me . . . but when.

4 Peas in a pod Stars

I have loved the Paths to Loves series since book 1. Each book has wowed me, though Daniel and Carlos are my favorite. I always get excited whenever I get a new book from Grahame Claire, but this time I was a bit worried. Drew was such a jerk in past books. I couldn't stand him. All the bad things he did in all the other books omg . I just didn't know how Grahame Claire was going to redeem him. But I should have know They would make me fall in love with Drew and all his flaws.

Drew was unapologetically a bad boy. I loved that he didn't do a 360 and turn into a saint. He was a great anti-hero. The bad boy you hate to love. I could understand some of his choices. That didn't make them ok, but it helped me soften to him. Knowing where he was coming from. Knowing his feelings on things, his hurts, his anger. I connected with him. His lady love was such a bad girl herself. Sonya was a hustler. She also owned her bad girl ways. I loved that Drew never shamed Sonya for the bad things she did. He didn't try to change her. She also loved Drew as he was and didn't try to make him reform. Both Drew and Sonya had a good heart they just showed their bad side more. They were funny and cute as a couple. They were snapping on each other one minute and kissing the next. I really enjoyed their banter.

After the last book I had questions about Gabriel. I can't say too much without giving spoilers away but all my questions about the situation were resolved in this book. And they were done the way I had hope for. Loretta omg my heart broke. I may have had something in my eyes(I'm not crying... you're crying) it was hard to read the end of the book but it was really good too. Overall I really enjoyed this book. If you haven't tried this series yet I highly recommend it . Start with Daniel's book It's not over it's one of my favorites and Daniel is very yummy!
