My Review

3.5 Team Stars

SEAL Wolf In Too Deep is the 18th novel in Terry Spear's Heart of the Wolf series. I have really loved this series since I came across it in 2013. I have read them all but maybe one or two. They have all been 4 to 5 star books for me. This one was good and I enjoyed it, but not as much as the previous books. The story line was just as good, the flow was nice and I loved the characters. But I really didn't feel the romance. I didn't connect to the couple and their relationship. Individually I found the hero and heroine likable and charming.

The problem I had and was that their relationship felt like a friendship. I didn't feel passion or chemistry between them. I kept waiting for the romance to pick up. For them to do something couple-ish (not sure that is a word lol) but for me it never came. Even with me not feeling the romance the book was still entertaining. There was some very cute moments in this book with the pack and Debbie. And I had a good laugh at some of the funny things Debbie did. Overall a good read for me and I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

My Review

                    4 Fraternizing Stars

"I've got you, baby," he said, tightening his hold. "I'm not going to let anyone hurt you."-Ethan

When a book opens with Sinners, whores, and sluts beware—your time is at hand you know it's gonna be action packed. Into the Fury, the 1st book in the BOSS, Inc. series, was exciting, sexy and sweet. The plot of murderers, sexy ex cops, and lingerie models was intriguing. This book grabbed my interest from line one and kept it til the end. I had a hard time putting it down to... you know eat and sleep. Hell who needs sleep not this woman! Ethan Brodie was sexy as hell. Of course I do have a weakness for uniforms, (ex)cops, firefighters, and (ex) military men. So no surprise I fell hard for ex cop Ethan. Ethan was all alpha, controlled, protective, and bad-ass. Valentine Hart was smart, sweet and very down to earth. She was beautiful with a good heart, and Ethan never stood a chance. They both fought their attraction to each other, because neither wanted a relationship and there was a "NO Fraternizing" rule. But rules are meant to be broken and some flames burn too hot. Ethan and Val's relationship was full of passion. They were good together like a team, and they respected each other.

"I need you,' she said softly. "Oh, God, Ethan, I need you so much."-Val

"I don't think you could possibly understand. Until today, I had no idea what it would feel like to see two of the most important people in my life looking death square in the face."-Ethan

There was a side story of Meg and Dirk who's relationship starts in this book, but their story is the next book out. There is a little preview of their book at the end of this book that has me all hyped up. Now I can't wait til the their book comes out so I can get my hands on it! And I checked out the cover for Dirk's book too!

Mmm talk about yummy eye candy! I loved Dirk as much as Ethan. Although Meg did come across a little judgy, for the most part I liked her too. I also really liked Luke, Ethan's little brother. I hope Luke gets a book too! This is the first book by Kat Martin I have read, and I really liked it. Tons of action, the book flowed so well and the characters were realistic and likable. Into the Fury was a great read and I will be check out more not just from this series but from this author!

And when they both find themselves emotionally linked, the truth behind Kincaid’s heritage just might kill them both.

My Review

               4.5 Life Saving Vows Stars

“My life is in as much turmoil as yours. We have both leapt into this bond, but I’d like to think there was something there before the leap. Your portrait on the wall drew my attention, and you’ve captured something deeper than just an attraction.”-Gavin to Amber

“That’s one seriously impressive concealed weapon you have there, officer.”- Selma to Jake

Highland Protector is the 5th book in the MacCoinnich Time Travels series. It's Amber's story and It was the one I couldn't wait to get to. Really Highland Protector was 2 love stories in one book. Amber and Gavin's and Jake and Selma. Which I was glad for because I had hoped to see more of Selma. This book was great just like I hoped. No big disappointment or anything, just a tad bit confusing at times with all the jumping around in time.

“I don’t care. I want to make love to my wife, to hear you moan when I bring you pleasure.” His words made her insides quiver, as did his hands as they circled her hips and pulled her back into his arms. “And I will bring you pleasure, Amber.” He kissed her briefly. “So much pleasure.”- Gavin to Amber
“You protected them, Selma. You and your cauldron crap.” The snark in his voice made her hiccup and smile. “You don’t believe in my cauldron crap.” “I don’t want to believe in it. Doesn’t mean I don’t. I’m all about facts, and I sure as hell can’t ignore any of you. Especially you.” - Jake and Selma

Amber and Gavin are very sweet together. They haven't known each other very long when they marry. Though you can tell they already have true feelings for each other. Gavin is very patience with Amber. He gives her the time she needs to feel comfortable with him. Their love was like a slow simmer til the end, where Jake and Selma are like a match catching fire. I liked Jake and Selma's story a little bit more than Amber and Gavin's. They just had more passion, plus they are totally there for each other. I feel like Amber turned her back on Gavin just because of something they found in a book. She quickly seen the error of her ways, but I feel after all he did to save her and all the kindness he showed her it was kinda a slap in the face to him. Omg Cian poor Cian he is in so much pain and it's changing him. I can't wait for Cian's book. I checked the Author's web page, but it just says coming soon. OMG I don't know how long I can wait. Patience is so not one of my virtue!!! Highland Protector was a great addition to this series. I will be stalking this author's web page til Cian's story comes out. I love this series!

“You’ve taken the words out of my mouth. I thought the knowledge I wasn’t to live in my parents’ time would bother me, but all I thought of was you. Of us. If this is love I don’t want the feeling to ever end.”- Amber to Gavin

There are enemies in California lying in wait for her, and an army in Scotland closing in on his family. Simon is the only person who can protect her. But when she learns his most guarded secret, will she still want him? Can Helen love a Highland Shifter?

My Review

3.5 “I love you, my Highland shifter.” Stars

“’Tis easier to think with a clear head.” “Yeah, well, mine ain’t clear, kilt boy, mine is full of whys, what ifs, and how comes. Not to mention a heavy dose of ‘that sonofabitch’.”

Soooo, Highland Shifter was a pretty good read, but no where near as good as the others in this series. The reason I didn't like this book as much as I have previous ones is because of Helen. OMG was Helen a whiner. She couldn't handle anything. I must have yelled at my kindle at least 5 time "OH for GOD Sake's woman put on your big girl panties and deal with it!"

“Back off, he-man. Clocking my boss probably won’t give us any answers either.” “But I like clocking my enemies. To tell you the truth, I miss it.”

Simon was great, I loved him. Sexy, brave and sweet. I love all the MacCoinnich family! We get to see what has been going on in everyone's lives years after where the last book left off. Simon is now 30. It was fun seeing all the new children. Helen got on my last nerve bad and it really took away from my enjoyment of the story. Helen really was my only problem with this book, the plot was great, and even Helen got better as the book went on. Just not fast enough for me. Still a good solid read. I am on to Amber's Story. Yay I'm excited about Amber's book!

“You couldn’t do that with claws,” she told him, nipping his ears. “You’re right. I’d rip your clothing off instead. Use that cat tongue to taste every inch of your delicious skin.” Heat shot to Helen’s core. “That shouldn’t turn me on.” Simon tasted the corner of her mouth and down her neck. “But it did.”

And will Lizzy willingly stay in his time, or abandon him altogether?

My Review

              4 Fighting their love Stars

“You’re a jerk, Finlay MacCoinnich.” “And you love it, Elizabeth McAllister,”

“Don’t, Lizzy. Please, it tears me apart to hear you cry.”

Redeeming Vows is a great a addition to the MacCoinnich Time Travel Series. I really liked this one, but I liked the first two a little better. The reason is I didn't really get attached to the main couple in this book. I liked them alright but I didn't love them.

“We both feel this way, Elizabeth. This spark between us.”

What this book is about

The evil Grainna is at it again. Now that she has broke her curse and has all her powers back, she is out to destroy the MacCoinnich Family. When a spell Grainna cast sends Fin and Lizzy back to lizzy's time in the future, they will have to work together to get back to the 16th century and their family. Fin and Lizzy have been going at each other's throats since they met. Fighting their feelings for each other. Now they have a few days to get home and help save their family. Can they stop fighting long enough to come up with a plan and make it home in time?

“I’m saying that today, right at this moment, you mean more to me than anything possibly could. That regardless of what may come tomorrow, I want you to be by my side so we can meet it together.”

But her eyes traveled down his long torso and followed the ripples of his chest until they met his need head on. “Good God, MacCoinnich, what do you feed that thing?” She licked her lips and prayed he hadn’t seen her response. He didn’t answer until her gaze returned to his. “Blondes.”

I didn't get Fin and Lizzy and I think that is why I didn't like this book as much as the other two. I liked them alright individually, but I didn't get why they fought each other so much. It made them both look like jerks and childish. I felt like they wasted all that time they could have been together acting like babies and fighting their feelings. That being said when they do get together they are adorable. It just takes them too damn long for my likings!!!! Just sayin! Of course I loved the whole MacCoinnich family. The plot was amazing which is why even with me not investing in the main couple I still give this book a 4 star rating. There is some new characters that I would like to see more in the next few books like Selma, Logan ,and Donovan . Poor Cian God I hope he gets a HEA because my heart just hurts for him. This book is a great read! I am on to the next book which is Simon book. I am really looking forward to Amber's book.

Below I will leave my favorite moment from this book:

“’Tis time to fetch them, Duncan,” Ian told his son, knowing full well what kept Finlay and Elizabeth away. He’d asked Simon to call his mother in his head some time before. Only to hear the child squeal and see the boy’s eyes pinch close. He quickly shook his head and appeared sick. “Oh, that’s just gross,” he’d said. “Are they well?” Lora questioned. “Oh, they’re fine. I think I’m going to need therapy though.” Todd burst into laughter. Tara chuckled. “I guess it’s best you stay out of your mom’s thoughts from now on.”

My Review

    4 "You're mine, and I'm yours stars

"Planning on doing everything I can to stop them from getting married. Mitch has to see the light. He has to know he's taking the wrong step before he jumps over the edge."-Ryder
"It taught me that life is short, and you have to show people that you love them when you have the chance. You can't wait. You have to capture the moment while it's there, because if you wait for the right one, it'll never come."-Josie

What a Werewolf Wants is the 3rd book in the San Francisco Wolf Pack Series. I didn't read the other two books in this series and I had no problem understanding this paranormal world, or the plot so it can be read as a stand alone. This book is about a werewolf named Ryder. Ryder works as a PI busting cheaters, he no longer believes in love, marriage, or forever. Ryder meets his fated mate Josie, who is a hopelessly romantic matchmaker. Her whole career is about finding true love and happy ever after. Josie is looking for her soulmate, she believes in love at first sight and she wants it all. They both feel the mate pull between them. But they are both fighting it. Ryder's best friend is marrying Josie's sister. Ryder plans on stopping the wedding because he knows his best friend hasn't been honest with the bride-to-be about what he really is. Josie has no plans on letting him break up the happy couple that she matched even if he does claim there are things she and her sister don't know about Mitch. Sparks fly as these two face off while fighting their attraction to each other.

"What do you want, Ryder? You're so hot and cold, you're making my head spin."-Josie
"I want you so much it hurts, but I can't stay away from you, no matter how hard I try." "Ryder?" She cupped his face in her hands as her stomach tumbled. "Stop trying."-Ryder and Josie

Ryder was totally Jaded. He wanted love, but he feared being hurt. he has been hurt before and he has seen it too many times in his line of work that he has given up hope. Ryder was a sweet guy, sexy, and laid back. Ryder was also very stubborn and a tad emo at times. He fought being with his mate tooth and nails. Josie was adorable. She knew what she felt and she trusted her instincts. Josie was a confident woman, beautiful, but still down to earth. Ryder and Josie's relationship was a bumpy, drive you crazy, opposites attract one , but still sweet. They kinda reminded me of Abby and Mike from the movie The Ugly Truth. Though there is some angst, due to the push/pull of their relationship it was a lighter angst read. Mostly this was a Cutesy feel good book, that made me smile a lot. It was a nice quick read that flowed well. I loved the ending. I think I might check out the first two books in this series, and I will be reading more from this author in the future.

"If I'm yours," she whispered, knowing he could hear her with his sensitive hearing, "then come and get me."-Josie

My Review

           4 lack of communication Stars

                      * Spoilers Below*

Okay so I kinda messed up and read this series out of order. This was suppose to be the first book and Then Stripped Raw, but other than knowing what happens to Jason(the hero from Stripped Raw) it wasn't a real big deal. These books can be read as stand alones easily. That being said I liked this book better than Stripped Raw. There was only one thing that kept this from being a five star for me and that is Sally and Damien break up and they both sleep with other people. I understand they are not together and it wasn't cheating but it was only a few months after breaking up. If they had only dated others but not slept with ow/om or were apart longer I may have taken it better I don't know. It just bugged me!  I was so in knots during their break up that I really did look like the gif above frowning, eating and drinking, but not able to put my kindle down!

I loved Damien. He was hot. But then again I do have a weakness for men in uniforms!!!! Damien was all kinds of yummy, growling, dominate alpha male. Sally was relatable and easy to like. I really liked her personal growth. She was so broken down in the first part of the book, but she really finds herself again. Although I wish she would have giving Damien a chance to explain things, but I could understand why she did what she did. Damien and Sal had explosive chemistry and they fell in love hard and fast. This book just reaffirmed my love for Jason's cousin Macy . I made a status update while reading this book saying I really want Macy to get her own book. Mrs. Rebecca Moon commented that Macy's book is in the pipe line! So Yay for that. I can't wait to get my hands on Macy's book, her personality really shined in both this book and Stripped Raw! Overall I really enjoyed this book. Even if I did read them out of order lol!
