My Review

           5 Professor Badass Stars

May have mild spoilers

God I love Rebecca Zanetti. Her writing just speaks to me...... and it says "buy all my books because they are awesome" lol. I haven't read a book of Rebecca's yet that I didn't love. She is a auto buy for me. I first fell in love with Rebecca's writing when I read her Dark Protector series( which is one of my all time favorites), if you haven't read that series and love Paranormal romance check it out it's sooooo Good. Every series after DP that I have read were great. I love them all but, Deep ops holds a special place in my heart. I just fell in love with this ragtag group of badasses. Wolfe has always been my favorite, but Jethro is a close second.

Jethro is everything you could want in a man. Sexy, alpha, badass, British, smart, caring, and loyal. I loved getting to know him, and his background more. Gemma was amazing too. I love how brave she was. She was smart, a fighter, and protective of her daughter. Trudy was adorable. my ovaries exploded every time one of the big, strong, badass warrior let Trudy wrap them around her tiny finger. I love that Jethro and Gemma took their time got to know each other and built trust before they went deep with each other. They made a sexy couple and a sweet little family.

Wolfe! Omg Wolfe was cracking me up all through the book, and with him being Jethro's best friend he was in the book a lot. I can't wait to see Wolfe become a daddy. Sexy British twins Oliver and Ian were new to the series and can I just say they fit right in. I really hope Rebecca writes stories for them too. It was fun getting to visit with all the past couples and of course Roscoe. Sexy Lawyer Scott was in this book and I felt some sparks between him and a little Deep Ops Blond. This book was action packed, funny, sweet and sexy I can't wait for the next book in the series!

The Blurb: There are two sides to every story–and the sizzling British alpha vampire, Bones, has a lot to say…

Now, relive the beginning of Cat and Bones' bestselling love story through Bones' point of view, which reveals a darker, sexier take on their early days, as well as a deeper dive into Bones' past, the vampire world, and other things that Cat didn't see when their story was told only through her eyes in Halfway to the Grave.

5 Worth the wait Stars

I absolutely love Bones and Cat!! They are one of my all time favorite couples ever. I have reread their books so many times I have lost count. When it comes to this couple and this paranormal world I will never get enough. Reading The Other Half of the Grave was like coming home. I enjoyed every single word of this book. I loved getting to see things from Bones perspective. It made me fall more in love with him and I didn't think that was possible. Seeing Cat through Bones eyes added depth to her and that is saying something since I know I have reread the series at least 7 times. I didn't put this book down and read it straight through now I wish I could have more. As soon as the book ended I thought "I wonder what Bones' perspective is in other books like the Annette- Cat fight, chapter 32(if you know you know!) and the kidnap and torture of Cat from Max, and the whole Gregor thing. I've seen post from Jeaniene Frost saying she will be writing more Vlad books, and I can't wait to read them. Vlad is another one of my all time favorites, but I really REALLY hope Mrs Frost writes more books from Bones pov. I would read anything with Bones and Cat in it. Getting to live in their world again made me so happy. Now that I am finished with this book it has me craving more so I think I will have to reread One Foot in the Grave to pick up were this book leaves off. I would recommend this book to anyone that loves Bones and Cat and all who love Paranormal Romance, and I hope and pray there will be more Bones pov books in the future.

Things We Never Got Over

Book Review of Things We Never Got Over

Title: Things We Never Got Over

Series:

Author: Lucy Score

Date Published:  January 13th 2022

Date Read:  January 26 2022

The Blurb: Bearded, bad-boy barber Knox prefers to live his life the way he takes his coffee: Alone. Unless you count his basset hound, Waylon. Knox doesn’t tolerate drama, even when it comes in the form of a stranded runaway bride.

Naomi wasn’t just running away from her wedding. She was riding to the rescue of her estranged twin to Knockemout, Virginia, a rough-around-the-edges town where disputes are settled the old-fashioned way…with fists and beer. Usually in that order.

Too bad for Naomi her evil twin hasn’t changed at all. After helping herself to Naomi’s car and cash, Tina leaves her with something unexpected. The niece Naomi didn’t know she had. Now she’s stuck in town with no car, no job, no plan, and no home with an 11-year-old going on thirty to take care of.

There’s a reason Knox doesn’t do complications or high-maintenance women, especially not the romantic ones. But since Naomi’s life imploded right in front of him, the least he can do is help her out of her jam. And just as soon as she stops getting into new trouble he can leave her alone and get back to his peaceful, solitary life.

At least, that’s the plan until the trouble turns to real danger.

5 Everything I wanted Stars

OMG I loved this damn book so much. This was my first Lucy Score book and I'm obsessed. I was totally hooked from the first few pages and I every time I had to sit the book down to do things like cook for my kids, take a shower or go to bed I thought about this book the whole time. I couldn't wait to get back to it and see what happened next. I was so engrossed in Naomi and Knox's life that I've been having a book hangover for the last two days. I haven't read any WOW books in a while( you know the books that are so good they stick with you forever) This book was definitely a WOW book for me. I loved every single thing about this book and I wouldn't change anything.

Knox was so hot. I fell madly in love with the grumpy, tattooed, sexy, giving, and protective Knox. He could do no wrong in my book. Even when he was being a Jerk and there were a few times he was showing his ass I still understood him, empathized with him, and loved him. Naomi was just as amazing. No matter what life threw at her she just kept going. Making the best of her life. She was smart, sweet, strong, and she had such a big heart it was hard not to love her and hope she got everything she dreamed of. Waylay was so cute. I loved that little girl like she was a real person. I felt her pain, and her fear to love and trust. I loved how well she handled all the bad stuff in her young life and I loved her potty mouth lol.

Knox and Naomi were so good together. I felt their love, their passion through the pages of this book. Their connection felt real. The book really took it's time deeply developing their relationship. The timing was perfect not too fast and not too slow. It was easy to see Knox and Naomi were made for each other. I loved them as a couple. Not only did I love the main couple I loved the secondary characters as well. They were all so well written and interesting that I couldn't help but love them too. Nash, Lucy, Sloane, Liza, Stef, Fi, and Lina were all great and I am hoping they all got their own books. Nash and Lina had some sparks. So did Lucy and Sloane. I loved that Lina (who was Knox's ex) wasn't catty or mean. She didn't try to come between Naomi and Knox she was just friendly to Naomi, and all around a cool person. The town was great and helpful. This book had it all. It was sweet, sexy, heart warming, and funny. I loved the ending and the bonus epilogue was so cute. Lucy Score now has a new fangirl and I have to go see what other books of hers I need to buy!
